Marinated Beef Ribs

Serves 2 as a main

Beef ribs are highly under rated, but with slow n low cooking and a great marinade they are not only amazingly tasty but wallet friendly to boot

1x bottle garlic & coriander sauce

4x beef ribs, individually cut

1x large roasting bag

To Serve: onion rings, crunchy mixed veg salad, your choice of creamy dressing

  1. Place the ribs in the roasting bag with ¾ of the sauces, mix well, seal and place in fridge overnight or for at least 3 hours
  2. Warm the oven to 150c, snip the corner off the roasting bag, place in an oven proof dish & put in the oven for 2 hours, turning once half way through
  3. Remove the ribs from the oven and drain the liquid from the bag, split the bag open & return to the oven for 30 mins to brown off the ribs
  4. Whilst the ribs are in the oven separate the juices from the fat*
  5. Place the juices and remaining sauce in a small pan on the hob and boil until thick
  6. Serve the ribs covered in the sauce with the dressed salad & onion rings

Top Tip

Drain the cooking juices into a small tupperware pot with a lid & place in the freezer, this allows easy separation of juices & fat (keep the fat for roast spuds)
